Picked up the new Battle of Monmouth game by Clash of Arms a few weeks ago and have been working up to playing it ... the maps are on the table, the plexiglass is deployed, the armies are in their opening setup positions, and I'm working my way through the rules (this is my first game in the Battle from the Age of Reason series).

MMP's new South Mountain game arrived about the same time ... that one will have to wait.

Twilight Struggle was all I got.

Hopefully June will be better, now that I have more potential opponents. HURRAH!

I hope my copy of Warriors of God turns up this month, that game is looking seriously something special.

The BAR system is a great system! I have Leuthen (because Bavarians fought err... stood and fled in this battle), which is unfortunately still waiting on my shelf. The game takes some effort to learn which I can't spare at the moment. Still, I played "Attack Sub" recently, and I can only recommend it! It is similar to Up Front, but lighter. But it is tense for sure (because it's about submarine duels - duh). You can find this one cheap on ebay, so check it out!

ATTACK SUB is designed by Courtney Allen, the designer of UP FRONT- hence the resemblance. I need to get a copy of that.

I want WARRIORS OF GOD badly! My preorder copy still isn't here. Maybe today.

Anybody heard anything about RED RUSSIA, the new Avalance Press (I know...) game? It looks/sounds pretty neat and it's fairly cheap...
