Someone was clearly a thrifter [some real charity shop staples on there]...

I don't see anything there that screams "ebay me!" other than couple of specific issues of Dragon in that run [the ones with the games in 'em and any of the Tom Wham games being tops] and perhaps that Star Wars M'Falcon Puzz 3D [and only if the parts bags are still sealed or if the box is in shrink--used puzzles don't sell well unless you want to count every bit]. [All would be $20ish ebait at best and can totally brick too; not for the faint of heart in the resale market.]

As for games to play, the Catan stuff is, well, Catan stuff--usually good solid games--that everyone in the world except me seems to already own. Well I do own one: Kat and I dig Starship Catan [a Kosmos 2-player and part of my personal "Games with Wife" series. I got the impression though that QueenPut had a taste for heavier [and trashier] fare than WifeMatix]

TransAmerica is pretty fun crayon rail game for kids and folks who like to play Euro-style family games; Torres may actually fall into a similar "light family game" slot too, but it's been so long since I've played I can't actually remember how much fun I had with it.

If you've ever liked any of the Mystery Rummy games, Wyatt Earp is probably the best developed in that family. We like card games 'round here, so this one works for us. Guillotine is also a fun card game for just about all ages--and now I really wish I hadn't just bought one at retail [after having to throw my previous copy in a trade as a deal-closer].

With the rest of the euros I see, Elfenland, Maya, Mexica, Yspahan, Industria, and Bohnanza probably have some trade value with the Euro crowd, particularly if you can get 'em real cheap. I'd say the same thing with Talisman [I'd presume you already own it] for the ATers but it's cropped up so often in the blow-out bins recently and with the FFG version on the horizon, it might be deadweight at this point. Puerto Rico might also a tough one to trade; lots of people want it but a good many of folks also tend to have little to offer in trade.

But, yea, that certainly is a bunch of crap ;)

Dragonstrike is fun, especially if you still have a video player and so can enjoy the demo video with turtleneck man.

Based on the other charity shop stuff on that list, I wasn't sure if that Dragonstrike is the one with the video and million figs or if its the Milton Bradley Dragon Strike game with the big plastic motorized swinging-neck dragon. If it's the latter, it's a real laugher for about 10 minutes, and the dragon is a great toy; but it's a lousy game.

Without sounding like an absolute dawk, the 1950s Coca Cola cribbage board sounds interesting if you play cards and it's in good condition - would be interested in knowing how much it's going for  .

Get Munchkin for Barnes' Secret Santa gift :woohoo:.

I think I may pick up Dragonstrike if the price is right. I can always give it to Uba as gift.

What's Camelot (1958)? I've been looking for a copy of Knights of Camelot, the old game from the 80's, so anything with the word Camelot in it catches my eye.

It's a moderately interesting abstract [if you like this kind of game, that is] that was later reprinted by MB or Parker Bros. under the title "Inside Moves." I think the BGG DB lists it under its original title "Chivalry." The mechanic is a bit like checkers [move, jump, capture] but with more pieces [that have different movement restrictions] and a hexagonal [or perhaps octagonal] board.

Nothing like what you're looking for, which, I presume is the old TSR title.

Dragonstrike is quite entertaining. That black turtleneck makes it look like the guy's head is floating. It also comes with 2 double-sized boards, which can always be repurposed for other games. The other minis are pretty nice too -- well worth it to have on hand.

Thanks Dogmatix. Yes, I'm hoping to someday find that old TSR game. However, if I ever do, I'm afraid that it won't hold up to my now clouded memory and will probably suck. So I'm not looking too hard for it.

If the Seafarers of Catan is 3rd edition and in good shape, it will trade well. Hell just get the whole set if it's priced right.

I picked up Settlers of Catan for me, Seafarers for Uba and I had to buy Dragon Strike with Hypervision. Here the Youtube clip:

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dragon+strike&search_type=&aq=f

Actually, Dragon Strike might be pretty fun playing with my daughters and the game comes with 16 adventures.

I'm not sure all the prices. Most games were $10.00 or under. The guy also threw in extra little goodies for every $5.00 you spent so my daughter was able to pick up a bunch of metal figures and dice for free. He only sold about 25% of the games. I think the games will now travel to the Congress of Gamers in Rockville Maryland next Saturday where they'll have a flea market and math trade thing going on.
