You just return from seeing the latest Super Hero movie and as you take your last sip of Yoo Hoo you stumble into your Man Cave to see that your entire collection of games has been stolen?

Who would you want to work on your case to recover your games? and why?

KOJAK

COLOMBO

JIM ROCKFORD

JOE FRIDAY

MAGNUM PI

STEVE MCGARRETT

Also, as a bit of trivia one of the above men was seen playing a computerized version of Dungeons and Dragons in one episode, who was it?

Jim Rockford, if only to get to hear that theme song again.

I'm pretty sure Magnum was the video gamer...maybe Higgins had an Intellivision or something.

Columbo -- just would like to see him annoy the shit out of someone until they confessed.

I'd also want Columbo.

I don't need blood getting spilled because of some fucking stolen board games.

Correct. Magnum was the video gamer

The computer RPG game that Magnum plays on Robin's $100,000 "Dracos III" computer security system is referred to in the episode as The Dungeon Master. Contrary to popular opinion, and despite its similarities, this game is NOT the classic computer game Dungeon Master. Dungeon Master wasn't released until 1987, a full three years after this episode was filmed. In fact, the game seen in the episode is not a real game at all! It is a mock animation sequence, complete with unique artwork, audio and text, made to look like a real game. The 3-D graphics are way too advanced for anything seen in a circa 1984 computer game. The game audio is not from a real game either, hightlighted by the fact that the game calls out Magnum's name! The sequence seen is basically a spruced-up, colorized, interpretation of the classic 1981 computer game 3D Monster Maze.

For me, it woul dbe Joe Friday. He would be the only one to take it seriously and probably wouldn't laugh. He would just take the facts and is the only one that could say this with a straight face,

"Put out an APB on a man wearing a chicken hat"

Definitely it would be Magnum. Then T.C. could fly me around in his German flag chopper to look for my games.

C'mon team - Steve McGarret so you can get the real 5-0 onto it .... plus we can have turns saying "Book 'im Danno".

Backup would be Magnum so we get the toys - Ferrari and chopper.

OK OK - I like the weather over there :P .

Though not on the table, I'd have to seek out the A-Team. Just for the simple fact that they'd blow shit up in the process. And if I'm lucky convert an '87 Chevy AstroVan into a V6 Machine of Death...But if forced to pick from the list provided, it would be Magnum. I need help updating my wardrobe.

Actually - there's only one guy I'd trust to get my Fortress America back in all its pieces AND deal some justice to the punks who took it ...

If this was TOS, everyone would be picking Detective Clueso. Fuck the Pink Panther.

The thieves may need some persuading to give up the goods. Omar is good for this.

Magnum PI is a close second. I like his style.
