Go on youtube and find Tom Vasel's video review of the game.
Like all Vasel reviews, it isn't really a review but more of a "here is how it works"
The components look very good.

Wood dice with symbols are to appeal to the Euro crowd. They won't touch a game with a normal dice with numbers or pips but give them a wooden dice with food and meeples pictures and they'll take to it like flies on dog shit. I lost Roll-TTA to a super Euro Nerd Thursday and after the game he started talking about his great strategy of building 7 cities, blah, blah, blah. I said "Oh it had nothing to do to the fact that you were the only one to invent medicine and than we rolled 3 pestilents in row (each of the other players lost 12 points). So I think this game has some pretty good cross over appeal. I liked the game but I'm not playing on buying it (keep to the New Years Resolution - Play more / Buy less). The wood dice are a bad choice and for 7 dice, a score pad, and 4 peg boards this should not be over 25 bucks.

My only hesitation is interaction level- but I guess that depends on what the special powers do.

The only direct interaction is in using the optional trading rules. There is also one tech that causes other players to get hit by bad effects rather than you when you roll a certain number of skulls.

The interaction probably comes from laughing at people's shitty dice rolls. That is good enough for me in a short game.
