As I said in another thread, I really like the book. The movie looks like it is going to be awesome. Check it out:

Sounds cool. I still haven't seen a film in 3D.
Did anyone see Mirrormask? That was written by Gaiman I think. Oh, and Stardust but I didn't think that did justice to the book.

If they made a Neverwhere movie, I'd be all over that.

I liked Mirrormask. It was pretty wacky and out there of course.
I saw the Stardust movie first then read the book. Thought the movie was better in that it had a more satisfying climax.
The BBC did a Neverwhere miniseries, but I haven't seen it.

Mirrormask has a little bit of Gaiman, but is completely outshined by the jaw dropping visuals from Dave Mckean (Sandman cover artist.)
Neverwhere works better as a TV series (which was the original form.)The budget is not the highest, and the acting is a little clumsy. The worst horror is seeing Angus from Lair of the White Worm as an angel.
Otherwise, it is well worth tracking down.
As to Coraline. I do really want to see it, but have some trepidation. The visuals look just a bit too...normal. The ones in my head were a lot better.
I did finish The Graveyard Book last week. Quite good, and clearly a gothy take on the Jungle Book.
