Nice!

I'm pretty hyped about this flick-- how can it possibly go wrong?

Well, it could. I mean, the Episode I trailer was incredible too...but I have faith, even with Lucas on board he's hopefully learned from his past mistakes and at least Spielberg is around to tell him "no".

I know a lot of people will probably bitch about the CGI and some of the more modern filmmaking elements...but god damn, the tone and spirit of what we've seen so far is pure Indy. I actually laughed out loud at the "Part time" joke- that says a lot, because it's really a dumb joke but the delivery was perfect, and it had that classic Indiana Jones feel to it that we haven't seen in 20 years.

I actually welled up a little when the theme kicked in. Picking up that hat...just wow.

Oh, and Cate Blanchett looks awesome in that Soviet get up.

I have two words for you - Shia LeBouf... Bouff... Beouf, however the fuck that guy's name is spelled. He ruins everything he touches, and could very well be the "Short-Round" of this movie. I liked everything I saw (a lot) up until the point were Mr Shia appeared, I only hope he will restrain his more Jar Jar-like tendencies.

I saw Harrison Ford talking with Letterman a couple years back on his show. Ford looked decent, but his hair was mostly gray. Ford was talking about shopping for baby stuff with Callista Flockheart at one of those gigantic warehouse type stores. She sent him off with part of the list so they could get the shopping done sooner. Ford wanders around, until a teenage guy working there comes over to help him.

"Can I help you, sir?"

"I'm looking for diapers."

The kid took Harrison Ford over to the aisle where they had the Depends on display.

I'm probably one of the few people that actually liked Episode I. After watching all 6 Star Wars movies, it fits into the rest of the script. It could have used less of Jar Jar but even he sort of fits in a convoluted way (never judge a book by its cover). I think were the prequels fell flat is too much of the cutesy stuff (fart jokes for one). Overall, I liked them though.

I'm expecting good things from the new Indy movie too......

Wow.

That could be good.

Really good.

Just when my kids are pestering me to watch all of Raiders, too. (Only one is old enough to handle the finale, tho.)

I think the trailer looks pretty good, but it's floating heavily on nostalgia.

Ford looks really good for his age - He just looks like Indiana Jones with grey hair, not at all like, for example, the 60s Kirk 80s Kirk deal.
