Dom Delouise dead at 75

Dom Delouise dead at 75 was created by Ken B.
Dom Delouise died today at the age of 75. He was in tons of movies when I was a kid (and before I was born.)
Always found him hilarious in Blazing Saddles and History of the World, among many, many others.

I think his best work was on Hollywood Squares
HEY! Did anyone else know he was Pizza the Hut in Spaceballs? I totally didn't know that. i also didn't know he did THAT many voices in cartoons.
I'm changing my vote for his best work from hollywood squares to The Secret of NIHM. His character makes that movie. "OOOOO! THE SPARKLEY!"
Did he ever host the Muppet Show? Cuz I know he was in most of their movies.

Man I loved Cannonball Run back in the day.
I'm so scared though that if I watch it again that another one of my memories will die a twisted, surprising death. Can anyone advise me if this worry is warranted?

Yes he did. It's on the second season DVDs. *Everybody* in the 70s was on the Muppet Show.
My kids always want to watch the Dom Deluise one, especially the part on planet Koozbain.
Cannonball Run is still excellent. Cannonball Run 2, not so much.
A funny guy, who didn't get enough respect because he was goofy-funny, not cool-funny.

I enjoyed him too, but I have to admit that he was pretty lame-funny.
SNL did a great skit of a supposed "Tonight Show" bit, where Johnny Carson, Burt Reynolds, and Dom Delouise, were hamming it up, smashing cream pies into each other's crotches. At the end of the skit, Delouise (played by Chris Farley) was laughing so hard his bladder let go, and he pissed all over himself, accompanied by more laughing. Pretty good stuff, and summarized fairly well how weirdly lame mass-marketed humor was during the 70's.

dammit, we can't watch those videos from Canada. I would love to watch that. Chris Farley as Dom Deluise must be hilarious.
