Arcane Legions was created by Stephen Avery

I finally recieved my demo kit and got a chance to sit down and play this and had a blast. If you like fighting large fantasy armies and throwing lots of dice but have a short attention span then this is the game for you. The game plays quick. We played two full games in two hours and because of that the carnage is quick and dirty. Don't a expect a unit to hang on too long because even the toughest ones can be brought down with concentrated assaults (though freakishly my 'fragile' terra cotta warrors held out for 5 attacks against two superior shock troops.)

The basics are covered in the article by Drake < fortressat.com/index.php?option=com_cont...w&id=1378&Itemid=551 > so I'll post something more in depth when I can play this more throughly. In short though, I am very pleased with the mechanics of this game and look forward to demoing it. Give it a shot if you can- I doubt you'll be disappointed.
