In other news, the just held a vote to ban smoking in the club which I think goes into effect Nov 1st. So all you smokers...bring a sweater.

Looks like I can make it. I'll be toting the latest prototype of TToA if anybody wants to waste valuable gaming time playtesting.

Jason, as someone who won't be there, I can almost guarantee those seats playtesting will be at a premium and I hope everyone lets you play even one game of something other than TToA.

Is there a specific hotel we should be looking at for lodging? I'm guessing there's no special Trashfest Northeast wedding rate but I know earlier in the thread several were mentioned...

And I'm damn excited for this!

Holiday Inn Express
Kelly Rd

Approx. $105 per night.

Those two are your best bets.

The Days Inn on Hartford Tpk and Motel 6 are much cheaper at around $50 per night but they are both much shabbier. Read the reviews and decide if the savings are worth it.

There are four or five hotels in Manchester just a few minutes away. Any of them on Pavillions Drive, Buckland Street, Slater Street, are fine.

PS. What Shellie refers to as the Hojos is the Days Inn, same place. Used to be Howard Johnson's and still has the trade mark facade on the front.

I am almost 100% down for at least one day of this, probably more.

Haven't intended to be so vague, but my wife had serious back problems and surgery and I wasn't sure how recovered she'd be by then, and now I have a weird allergy thing going on. I have a doctor's appt on Friday and we'll find out what's up/what's to be done at that point. I don't think anything would come of it that would prevent me from going, but I've been asleep for 11 of the past 16 hours and could happily be asleep now from whatever is going on.

Peggy just gave me the low down on the menu for those of you wishing to partake of her catering and I put it in the OP.

I'm telling you, she can cook.
