It was fun, even if Cthulhu did stomp us.

I should point out - even though it only about 6C outside right now, there are plenty of nice reasons to visit Minnesota other than gaming, and there are at least 3 of us here!

I may be able to scratch out a night at GenCon for some sort of F:AT gaming thing (doing a demo with me does not count!) ...

I'm having some joiners remorse about the Cult thing. Now I'm saddled with a bunch of boxes of fabric softener, vitamins, and organic shampoos that I won't be able to sell until I build my downline.

Sorry I had to run off home and miss that second game, the multiple bouts of insanity sound like they were entertaining. Given my successes of the first game I'm gonna search eBay and Craigslist for a "Brazier of Souls"....it'd come in really handy for staff meetings.

Yeah, it was fun. The first game was really good, interesting, but everything went smoothly until a burst gate at the end nearly sent us to Final Battle with Ybb-Tstll. Even then, we would have probably won anyway.

The second game was tough. Cthulhu was in such a mean mood that he assembled a regular air force consisting of a four fliers, including two Shan. We kept getting Mythos cards that moved everything, so that flier stack kept hammering people in the streets. My athlete character actually went insane a sixth time in final battle, but I was still proud of her for taking down the Dunwich Horror with just Petrifying Solution and Grapple skill.

Overall, it was great fun, and I look forward to gaming again with everybody there.

The funniest moment of the day had to be when KingPut tried to sneak away from the Colour in Space by using his disguise kit.

I wish there was an easy way to find out what state people live in.

There is a place in the profile where people can put that information.

I'll have to figure out who I have played with.

We could try one of the Google online collabarative tools. We could set a simple (Google) spreadsheet up where people can enter their name and whatever location/address details they want to add, and/or use their maps ..... like this - FATties Worldwide Directory .
(To add yourself click the EDIT button in the left pane and then use the Add Marker button [upside down teardrop thingy] in the right pane to place yourself)

If either of these are popular then we could sticky them somewhere that only registered users could see and access.

Hey - awesome ! The map is being populated ..... c'mon you FATties, stick your pin in !!

Cool! Hopefully this helps some of us get together!

Now, if only I traveled for work...

The college wilderness is Ann Arbor -- I would be glad to let you add me to any list you are working on.

Going to school at the University of Coach Thieves, eh?

I will have to get out of WV and come to Atlanta or Baltimore, it sounds like...

Or at least come down Leesburg Pike into Loudoun County and push chits around with me....Pete's got family in Winchester [I'm near Dulles], so I'm sure we could get somethin' goin'. :)

Rocky Gap in Cumberland may have to be ground zero for a local con.

By the way, Pierre lives in Germany???

Who all is going to be at origins? I suppose I could post this in Avery's Origins thread but that would be too easy. I can probably only make it up there for one day, but I am going to try to be there.
