Thanks Billy, I thought the event would be lost in the depths of my spotty memory. I would do it again tomorrow if I could. And next time I'm going to be a hellava lot less responsible.

Surprisingly, hardly anyone drank that much. I was operating on 4 hours of sleep a night so I had to abstain. I guess everyone else was too polite to get shitfaced. We'll definately have to remedy that next time...

I was going for French villain, but pirate works too.

Sea of Blood was pretty cool. The problem was that Avery's stupid Road to Legend party for some reason took 2 fucking ranged weapon guys and only one tank. On top of that we got to a final dungeon level that really just kicked our asses, a big old dragon was there that the two ranged guys couldn't damage and only the tank and magic wielder (Shiver, who is awesome) could hurt. Only then just barely.

I was assuming ranged would be more important in ship to ship combat but the way SoB is designed, everyone is keyed to certain types of cannons and abilities on the ship. The really poor choice was getting the guy with only 8HP. His special ability is a lot of fun but he's a liability to the party.

Yeah, our choice of guys is doomed to failure.

No kidding Steve. I opened the fridge expecting the radiant golden glow of hundreds of bottles of cheap beer. Instead all I found was a six pack of Will Kenyon's Sierra Nevada. I did manage to drink one before he and I got into a fist fight.
