Road Trip??

Shellhead obviously hasn't seen Dan Baden's game shelves...

Why does this notion of Avery and Kenyon trekking across the midwest remind me of THELMA & LOUISE? I can just see Avery's Toyota going flying off a cliff, with game parts streaming out the back.

Well, if you want to come up to New York, you're welcome to game at my place. Just not third week of July as I'm vacationing then. And of course not during Origins/Gen Con.

I think there is a motel a few minutes away from me and I'm an hour north of Manhattan in case you want to go sightseeing or visit the Compleat Strategist.

I might have some room in the basement (where we would game) for crashers - if you bring sleeping bags and if my wife is ok with the idea

Hey Thanks Zev! I've talked with Kenyon a bit and am optomistic we can work something out. We're spitballing ideas but almost all of July is open. A trip up the east coast seems very plausible since we both have friends scattered along the way.

If anyone wants to be part of the epic roadtrip, please chime in and we'll see what we can work out.

At some point, I would like to do a midwest trip as well. I appreciate the hospitality already offered.

I think there is a motel a few minutes away from me and I'm an hour north of Manhattan in case you want to go sightseeing or visit the Compleat Strategist.

Ironically, the only place in NYC where I've EVER encountered rudeness and hateful attitudes.

Christ, between the thought of Avery wandering the streets of Manhattan trying to find a Chili's or TGI Fridays for some "home cooking" and the thought of him cruising around on a lake, waterskiing under the influence of a couple of margaritas...I'm staying home, that's all I'm saying.

If you cruise up through Maryland let me know. Depending on the day I may be able to host you here at home or work up someplace closer to where you're passing through.
