Me: Hook you up with rooms, food, (cheap) alcohol, and gaming.
I've learned a few things from last time and expect this year to be even better. Late May/early June is the very best time of year in GA. Warm enough to break out the Tiki Bar but not so hot that you need AC.
Also, I'll be out of school and the family will be at the pool so I don't have any other considerations besides having a good time.
I'm going to be rounding up some exceptionally fun people. Let me know if you're interested so I can start plannning.

Just on the eve of my 40th birthday. Hrm. Seriously doubt the wife will let me go with a newborn in the house, but we'll see.

Depending upon airfare and family issues (I may have a summer gig for a week)...I'd love to come down again, Steve. Had a great time when I was there!

Sweet! I realize that this early in planning that everyone is going to be a maybe but I'm getting a lot of really positive responses.
Being off for the summer is going to be a huge advantage in planning and coordination. I'll be able to load up on food and drinks before hand and will have time to set up a few mega games.

Damn ufe, it looked further but that's only around 9 hrs straight... And I'm only an hour north of Richmond.

Wow, if this keeps growing every year, Avery will soon be able to invite celebrities, like maybe Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and also that dude who played a Cardassian extra in the second season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Yeah, I was surprised when I checked mapquest. Without carpooling though I may as well fly. Save myself the extra buttstrain/vacation time and not splitting on gas means I'm not really saving money.
