Due back again with a Star Wars theme.

I really dug 'Relic' but would love to see an uber dark version that hearkens back to the more 80's GW aesthetic again.
And fuck Star Wars -give me Flash Gordon and you're talking!

Before that apart from the family fare I'd had a bit of a sliding doors moment with gaming. I can remember a mate inviting me round to paint Warhammer minis on a saturday morning. And another telling me I should go and drink beer in the park and listen to punk rock. I chose.... wisely? haha.
10 years ago I'd had a distant relative in-law-in-law come and stay with us a few years before, never having been in the big city before, and he wanted to go visit a game store. He had a few things with him as well, german family euro fare, including Carcassonne; I'd just had my first kid and thought, well, this might be something to look in to for later on, and hell, now too, now we're all responsible and not going out and stuff. So, 10 years ago I was in the exploratory stage, probably still thinking the big Euros were the thing for me. I don't get rid of many games (although I've hit my "full" point now, so trying to do one in one out) - Carcassonne was the first thing I bought, it's still there.
Funnily enough uba El Caballero I just got rid of. I thought it was cool actually, but nobody else was interested.
