These will be up on the front page for a few days to a week. Most movies will be on netfix. Watch the movie and weight in. If it takes you more than a week to get to watch the movie, use the link above to add your thoughts when you do.

awesome! Can I write something if I've seen the movie before or do I have to rewatch?

You're welcome to say whatever you like Barney. If Lewis Pulsipher can review a game he's never played you can comment on a movie you've seen even if it's been a while.

Go ahead and join the discussion. You don't need to re-watch it. Re-watching the movie is interesting, however, as memory is a tricky thing.

If repoman can assume someone hasn't played a game and slanders him in a different thread than you can comment that he's trolling.

Apologies. I suppose I don't really know that he hasn't played that game and my attempted humor above is out of line. Consider it taken back.

Later....

Going back to his blog link on BGG he says this:

"Impressions", not a review. To review a game you must play it many times (though most people writing reviews, don't).

Which is I suppose his answer to my direct question whether he actually played the game.

Technically he is correct, he did not call it a review.

On TOS he says Impressions, but not here? Then you're correct, it sounds like unplayed opinion. I just felt that if you wanted to take a dig you should do it in his article. (And yes, I know I'm almost as bad as Barney for accidentally derailing threads!)

My original post in this thread has given some people the impression that if you have already seen the movie some tiem in the past, you must re-watch the movie to particiapte in the discussion. That was NOT my intention.

You can join in even if you have never seen the movie - ask questions, gossip about the actors, whatever.

Oh shit. I have Netflix (after much pissing around with proxy servers and suchlike) but can only watch instant movies.

Tits. I thought I could roll in with an opinion....

Yah Netflix is funny. There is really no way to tell what they will stream at any given moment. Sometimes old stuff, some times obscure stuff, and what streams today might not tomorrow. That's why I didn't dump the CD delivery portion of the subscription over the summer like a lot of other people did.

Think Uba watched on Amazon's version of streaming.

Think in the future I'll add a Netflix Streaming yes/no line in the review which of course will only be valid at the time it's posted.

Opinions informed or otherwise are encouraged.

Yes, I watched it on Amazon Instant Video via my Roku. It was free with Amazon Prime.

Oh, we do have that too, so maybe I'll watch it afterall! I never think of anything being on there and it's such a pain to use I rarely check.

I only check Amazon if I can't find something on Netflix.
