A Piece of Americana - anyone else have trouble loading? It hangs Safari Version 5.0.6 (5533.22.3) every time.

I dropped the photo in with a cut-and-paste instead of linking to a file. That's the only thing I can think of that I did differently.

That would choke some systems. Fixed it with a temporary hot link.

Thanks uba, that made a difference
It seems odd that, when I can download a film in 10-15 minutes, one tiny picture can choke Safari.

It might not be Safari. I had no problem with it. Go to your utilities folder and open Console and check the messages.

Thanks, but nothing I can find (maybe because I've reset Safari since). If it happens again with something else, I'll hopefully remember to have a nose in Console.
