Back on topic:

Two things which came up a lot in this thread amaze me.

1) Having game night more than once a week is childish.

I usually have also only play board games once a week, but if I could trade the time I spend on board game sites online for time I could spend gaming, I wouldn't hesitate a minute to do so. I once spent all the spare time of one week to play Turning Point: Stalingrad after work and I certainly don't regret it.

2) Not having been to a game convention.

First off, I wouldn't go to a con alone either. But locking yourself away for three days with your friends and playing games is about the closest you can get in this hobby to traveling to Florida for baseball spring training. Oh, I recommend it.

Heh. Reminds me of a porno movie that I saw years ago where one of the characters said that he suffered from "sexual dyslexia." That meant that he forgot about foreplay until after the money shot.
