No one is 'forced' to get along with anyone. I don't give a shit who you hate or what you say about them. But that does not give people my leave to wreck the boards for everyone else by spilling your feud into multiple unrelated threads.

If you keep your shit in one thread that is fine. If other threads start suffering because 2 dickweeds can't help themselves and I feel its ruining my enjoyment you get locked into thunderdome.
From there either:
a) you sort it out, and which case you can come out.
b) i vote on who won the fight and the other person gets a ban.
haven't decided which option to go for yet, or if I should choose between the 2 on a case by case basis.

Hopefully I'll never have to use it but it is there if needed. I don't have time to babysit people 24 hours a day eveytime a fight breaks out.

I've been rattling the Thunderdome doors just because I wanted to start a thread titled "Come on Down Mr Skeletor!!!!" Unfortunately, err, fortunately, err, moving on ... I don't have a gripe with Frank. And such a suicidal Summon Skeletor incantation would result in something like this.

I think option b) follows option a) quite nicely. Give them a chance to sort it out, at which point they may come out sheepishly holding hands saying "we're really sorry everyone for our behaviour", and if they don't sort it out, name the winner and the banned.

I think that you should keep your options open to handle Thunderdome inconsistently. That will keep people from trying to game the system. Besides, fear of the unknown is one of the most primal fears.
