Yeah you do Peter-- depending on what kind of game the casino offers. Your best bet is to follow the link I provided, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter the parameters of the game. You know: how many decks?, does the dealer hit on soft 17? Etc.
Once you do that it'll give you the basic strategy you should use. Just do me a favor and remember that even if you make no mistakes in the application of basic strategy (something only few people are actually capable off) the house still has an advantage.

My advice:if you lose half your roll-- call it a day and seriously consider if your willing to lose the rest the next day. If you win 1.5 times your roll make a dash with the cash.

I'll tell you what I tell all my clients: the only system that is a sure fire winner at any gamem of any casino in the world is to leave while your ahead.

Now this is a really interesting idea. Maybe a topic for dice lounge 6? Or just a thread or blog post from weeks?

I would have to say that BSG has to be somewhere on the list of "high player input" style games.
